Finnish software company Granite Partners Ltd. (“Granite”) has joined WeKomply, a portfolio company of the Danish private equity firm VIA equity. WeKomply is a leading Northern European provider of compliance, risk, and quality management software solutions.
For Granite’s customers, the company, team and platform will remain in place. As part of WeKomply, Granite will gain access to additional capabilities and resources across product development, technology and go-to-market, as well as opportunities to collaborate with other specialised brands across the group.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Tampere, Granite provides a cloud-based platform that helps organisations replace spreadsheets and fragmented processes with practical, integrated software for managing risk and compliance. The platform covers areas including enterprise and third-party risk management, audit management, IT risk and compliance, supported by automated workflows and audit-ready reporting. Granite adds a comprehensive GRC platform to WeKomply’s existing offering, further strengthening the group’s capabilities across risk, quality, HSE and operational compliance. Granite also strengthens WeKomply’s position in Northern Europe and expands the group’s capabilities in areas of growing importance to organisations facing increasingly complex regulatory and risk environments. The acquisition marks another step in the continued development of WeKomply as a leading Northern European compliance software group, combining organic growth with strategic acquisitions to broaden its offering and strengthen its market position.
